Ssangyong is a Korean brand with a complicated history, but to keep it simple, it is presently owned by Indian vehicle maker Mahindra & Mahindra since 2011. The name means double dragons.
In 2009 Ssangyong went into receivership, with global sales of just over 35,000. It has grown from there to over 145,000 in 2013. It makes the following vehicles:
