Saleen S7 is America's first and up to date only exotic supercar with a mid-engine configuration. When in 2002 S7 went on sale, it is the car street-legal only in the United States, which has more than 500 horse power output and 500 lb-ft of torque. S7 Twin-Turbo is the successor of the already legendary S7 supercar. As in every other true supercar, the doors of Saleen S7 Twin-Turbo open up and away from the body. It features a more powerful V8 engine, all-aluminum, which produces 750 horsepower @ 6300 rpm and 700 lb-ft of torque. Redline is at 6500 rpm. 2006 Saleen exotic version of the car also has one unique interior feature - the rear view mirror video. There is actually a tiny video camera mounted on the back of the car quickly, which transmits the driver's view. The main idea here is to not use the standard rearview mirror supporting aerodynamics, thus reducing aero drag and increase down force.
